I rewatched The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape recently. Both movies happen to feature Steve McQueen, James Coburn, and Charles Bronson, which is pretty neat because these movies catch the actors in their prime. Seriously, movies like this aren't really made anymore. Then again, could they be? Would we want movies like this to be made? Whenever I hear someone go off about how great movies used to be and how sucky they've become now (same things are said about the state of today's music), I wonder if it's true, or if it's just nostalgia/elitism/refusal to accept change/etc. Oh hell, I dunno. I'm just going to bask in the glory that is Yul Brynner. After basking in the glories that are James Spader and Heath Ledger, well, I'd say it's like going to the source of a very tasty spring. Well, ok! Haircut went well, as did graduation (fake, because I'm not quite done): ![]() So, yeah, no more homework for a while now. EXCELLENT! Wednesday, May 21, 2003
Ok, dude, Friday I am getting my hair cut. Wish me luck. Well, no, don't. Wish me luck now - I've got two papers to write and a test to study for, and I do not have such a supportive girlfriend as Kennedy to "support" me. Oh god I am tripping on pure adrenaline stupid papers Tuesday, May 20, 2003
Partway through Buffy: Dude, I'd so be Kennedy's girlfriend, even though I don't dig girls like that. Monday, May 19, 2003
The Matrix: Reloaded was EXCELLENT. Granted, I am easily amused, but OH it was fun. I have to write papers now. It is a lovely day outside but I must WORK! Fuck! Even in the future nothing works. Friday, May 16, 2003
Did I mention my birthday was yesterday? Ooops. I was busy. I got some new DVDs and books. It is very cool. Tomorrow we shall see The Matrix 2: Electric Boogaloo, and then go have munchies and drinks at a Chevy's of choice. I'm easy to please on occasion. Ok, back to movie! Wednesday, May 14, 2003
Here are some mp3s I'd like to get my electronic mitts on: Trapt: "Headstrong" Justin Timberlake: "Rock With Me" and "Cry Me a River" Gil Scott-Heron: "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" TomTom Club: "Genius of Love" Stereo MCs: "The Right Effect" Rage Against the Machine: "No Shelter" and "Renegades of Funk" I clearly have no taste. Johnny Mneumonic is on TNT. I remember seeing this with my dad when it came out. Man, that was weird. Tuesday, May 13, 2003
Ok, finals week be comin'. It is not pretty, kids. For those of you interested - I do have some pictures of the anthro/soc awards and senior appreciation luncheon thing, but I am going to wait until I've got a bit of time (that is, after my Eastern Religions paper is done) to put them up. There's even a video. Ain't technology grand? Thursday, May 08, 2003

I was visiting my friend Vince's site, and saw a link to some weird-ass scifi character slave trading game that is very odd. I'm not entirely sure how one plays this, but I KNOW that you might not want to view the character profiles while at work. People are weird. Friday, May 02, 2003
